This competition has been put together to promote the art, science, and joy of home brewing and enjoying beer.

OK, you've made a decent batch of beer and you want to know how it compares to others. Do you want some feedback on what you have made? How can you make it better? Maybe you just like competition. All of these are good reason to enter our Sixth Annual Rhymes & Vines Homebrew Competition.

We are staging this event to highlight the quality of our region’s beers and the public’s increasing interest in home brewing. The beers will be judged by a panel of distinguished home brewers on Saturday, September 24th.

We are proud to announce the Sixth Annual Rhymes & Vines Wine Maker Competition that focuses on your wines. This competition is important for a number of reasons:

- The best winemakers in the industry were once amateur winemakers.

- You think your wine is good, why not find out! Wines are judged in a blind tasting by professional winemakers and their notes and suggestions are forwarded just to you.

- This is a great opportunity to be involved with other winemakers and find out more about the industry.

This year’s competition should be more exciting than ever.  We are staging this event to highlight the quality of our region’s wines and the public’s increasing interest in them. The wines will be judged by a panel of distinguished winemakers on Saturday, September 24th.
